Mariah Carey

I am absolutely thrilled to be included in Mariah Carey’s “Memoirs of an imperfect Angel” album package!!! My first job with this talented lady was for a Cosmo cover. While in my chair, she was so busy talking to her team, listening to demos and signing posters (she is the ultimate multi-tasker) she didn’t notice that I was done with the makeup. When she looked into the mirror she said: Nobody’s ever done my makeup like this before!

And then she went on the set to get photographed. I wasn’t sure what she meant by that: did she like it, hate it, what? The shoot went well and quickly and then she left. I wasn’t sure I’d ever see her again. A few days later her management called for me to do an MTV gig and that was it. We began a collaboration that has lasted for 12 years.

Several videos, numerous shoots, a ton of red carpets, award shows and adventures later, I’m still in awe of her. She’s an incredibly talented woman (and you ain’t seen all of it yet), she’s wickedly funny, smart, passionate and generous.
